Mike McCarthy, President
Mike graduated from Mary Washington College in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science in Business. Mike has been involved in the Nursery and Plantscape/Landscape industry in excess of 30 years, holding positions as President, and Regional Vice President for major national firms in the industry.

Gary Mangum, Vice President
Gary is a Certified Landscape Professional and has been involved in the interior landscape industry since 1975. Gary has held positions within the landscape industry such as Past President of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), as well as the Landscape Contractors Association (LCA). Gary has worked with many of the areas most demanding developers and property managers on a Design/Build basis and is an acknowledged industry leader.

Kathy Fuller, Chief Financial Officer
Kathy joined our team in 2008 and brings with her an incredible amount of knowledge. Kathy graduated in 1990 from University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting as well as an MBA from Loyola College in 1998. She is also a CPA. Kathy works with the internal operations of Premier Plantscapes and Bell Nursery.

Wendy Bell, Landscape Design & Sales Consultant
Wendy brings with her nearly 27 years experience to the Premier Plantscapes sales team. Wendy represents Premier Plantscapes within associations such as BOMA, AOBA and IREM. Wendy is heavily involved in the new foam product by Freedom Garden Products which is used for green roof systems. Wendy manages large portfolios for clients such as Tishman Speyer and Brookfield Properties as well as law firms and four star hotels. Wendy plays a key role in our Holiday designs and sales. She travels every year to large trade shows to find us the most up to date designs, color themes, ribbons, specialty props, etc.

Denise Selby, Landscape Design & Sales Consultant
Denise’s experience includes working within the landscape industry for nearly 28 years. Projects in which she is responsible range from small professional office tenants, average size commercial office building lobbies to large-scale interior and exterior projects including the International Monetary Fund to five star hotels such as the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton Hotels. Denise is very detail oriented and has worked her way through the landscape industry starting in 1982 as a horticultural maintenance technician to her current position.

Pat Cullen, Landscape Design & Sales Consultant
Pat began his life long career in the exterior landscape side of our industry nearly forty-five years ago. Pat has designed and installed countless projects throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia ranging from roof terraces to green roofs to office building lobbies to individual tenant spaces. Pat’s overall knowledge is shared with the rest of the sales team on a regular basis. Pat is also heavily involved in providing green roof systems with the new foam product by Freedom Garden Products. Pat holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Ornamental Horticultural and Landscape Design.

Patrick McCarthy, Operations Manager
Patrick began his career in the landscape industry in 1989 and has held many management positions. He joined Premier Plantscapes in early 1998 as an installation crewperson. As the company has grown Patrick has proven that his knowledge and abilities are maximized in his current position. This position includes all scheduling of interior and exterior landscape installations, green roof installation and maintenance scheduling, ordering of materials, receiving, vendor relations, just to name a few. Patrick maintains daily contact with all of our installation crews as well as the sales staff and Regional Maintenance Supervisor, Margarita Amaya.

Jim Robbins, Exterior Maintenance Manager
Jim has extensive experience in the landscape industry. He has won numerous industry awards over the years. Jim is a licensed pesticide applicator as well as a Certified Landscape Technician through the Landscape Contractors Association. His day to day direction of our exterior crews includes ongoing site visits as well as coordination of planting efforts with our installation department.

Misael Rosa, Installation Supervisor
Misael has been part of the Premier Plantscapes team for nearly twelve years. Misael is bi-lingual which proves an asset on a daily basis while working with his crews as well as our clients during installations. Misael’s commitment to excellence is shared by all who work under his direction.

Margarita Amaya, Regional Maintenance Supervisor
Margarita’s vast plant knowledge is unprecedented when it comes to horticultural maintenance services and client communication skills. Margarita brings with her nearly 28 years of experience to Premier Plantscapes. She has been part of our team beginning January 1998 to present day. Margarita is also bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

Weston Fisher, Sales Assistant
Weston was incorporated into our team nearly four years ago. Weston graduated on the Dean’s list from the Perdue School of Business with a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Salisbury University in 2007. Weston’s overall ability to get things done as well as follow specific direction has been an integral part in helping the team with daily tasks including timely responses to clients requests, etc.
